Thank you so much for stepping in and making our wedding look AMAZING! I know I didn't give you a lot of information to work with but you truly outdid yourself! I'm still gushing over the "Bryant" letters! The quality, the placement, the lighting behind them were perfection! Oh and the bowties you made!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

P.S. I received so many compliments on the bouquet and mantle pieces that I've reused them in my home. The bouquet is the centerpiece on our dining table and the stand up letters are atop our kitchen cabinets. I plan to use the "Bryant" letters in our backyard (once we get one).

 Anyway, thanks again! Choosing a vendor can be so hit or miss but you were phenomenal! I'll be sure to pass on your information along to my friends!

Krystal has birthed something in me that I didn't know existed

I started wearing headbands everyday about a month ago. One week I spent $50 on headbands! I wanted to wear a different one each  day of the work week. I favored the bands that had wire in them.

Anyway, I knew I couldn't continue to buy headbands every week. I needed to figure this thing out! Krystal posted a DIY video on @doableyou Instagram page about making headbands. It immediately caught my eye, but I knew I couldn't make my own headbands.  I've always shied away from arts and crafts. I am not an artist (or so I thought).

I set up an appointment with Krystal, reluctantly. Prior to our meeting I purchased all of the materials she suggested. We met via Google hangouts. The live tutorial took about an hour. It was a huge success! I actually made my own headband! I survived! And I didn't lose a finger.

That following week I made about 6 headbands for myself. With every headband my skills became better. My coworkers began notice.

During this time, I created a Donors Choose project for my students. Donors choose is an online charity that allows people to donate to teachers and students in need.  My project was $1,700.  That is a lot of money, but my students are worth it and the resources in my classroom are very limited.  To meet this big goal I knew I needed to have an incentive.  To "recruit" donors, I gave each one a free headband. Needless to say, my plan worked! In seven days I raised $1700!  All thanks to Krystal, Doable You, and my handmade headbands. I made 60 headbands in two weeks for the donors and I enjoyed every minute of it.

Krystal has birthed something in me that I didn't know existed. I'm grateful. The best is yet to come.

1920's Headpiece
